At Dynamics Therapy Centre for Kids, we provide individual Occupational Therapy sessions:

  • Handwriting and fine motor skill
  • Sensory Integration Therapy and Gross Motor Skills in our Sensory Integration gym in Forum Shopping Mall
  • Treatment of Oral Motor defensiveness

For children with sensory difficulty we develop an individualized therapy plan to help alleviate Dysfunction in Sensory Integration (DSI). Sensory Integration is the ability to receive information from our senses, processing it and preparing our body to act in the environment.

Before starting therapy, we provide Occupational Therapy screening and assessment in a sensory integration framework.

The assessment process includes an interview and questionnaire for the parents, and an observation session with the child. In the session, various standardized tests are used to measure the strengths and weaknesses of the child. The assessment is then summarized in a written report, which is used as a baseline for an intervention process.

Our Policies

Confidentiality:

The information obtained from you will remain confidential and will not be shared with a third party without written permission, except under the following circumstances:
  1. Therapist’s perceives that you may hurt yourself or others
  2. Information indicates child abuse or neglect
  3. An order from the court to disclose information

Fee Agreement:

Dynamics has established a fee of $150 (Psychologist) or $170 (Senior Psychologist) per 50 minutes session. Should session exceed the allotted 50 minutes, please note that you will be charged for the additional time.


Cancellation:

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your schedule. You may call us at 6100-9235 and leave a message with the receptionist or on the voice mail or you may also cancel by email to admin@therapy.com.sg. If you fail to do this, you will be charged for the missed session unless a medical certificated is provided.  This practice is standardized within the psychology profession.
